Help activating new sim with new phone
Hi I've got a new phone with a new sim data plan. I need to activate it but can't seem to. I also want to keep my number.

After doing so you need to get a Pac cide from your previous network to then give it to Sky, so that sim (and not the Sky one) needs to be in the phone when you send the text to them for the pac code:

Hey thanks for your reply. I'm staying with sky. That's why I'm finding it hard. I requested at PAC code because I couldn't see any other route to follow but that's still not working. I have a new phone with a new sim (more data) but want to keep the same number. I'm at a loss.

You can't use a Pac code to move a number from one Sky sim to another Sky sim so you have a few options.
You could call Sky to ask them to cancel this new sim you activated and then use the one you have in your new phone.
You could either use the sim you have or if you want to transfer the number you have to the new sim then you would need to use a Pac code to transfer your current sim number to a PAYG network and then use another pac code you get from them to transfer it back to your new Sky sim.

Is there anyway of actually speaking to someone on the phone? I'm havig. Really difficulty with this. I've followed the link provided, and they still not working. I phoned the number and the automated message took me through to activate my new sim but said that I'd have a temporary number before my number would be transferred. How does this transfer happen, do sky do this automatically and how long does it take?

When you activate the Sky sim the number that it comes with will be yours.
As I stated above you can not transfer a number from one Sky to another Sky sim so my post above about what to do here still applies.

Okay great, thanks for clarifying. Do you have a contact number for sky so I can discuss cancelling sims?

150 is the free number to call Sky on from the phone that has the Sky sim in it.
