Hi all I just signed up to Sky mobile, the phone works for calls and texts/wifi but the data connection does not.
I am clicking the option on mysky to send network settings but nothing is coming through. What settings should I use if anyone has a guide? Pixel 6 is not listed on the sky support page also under device support.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThis should be what you need to do:
Go to sky.com/networksettings (My Account > Mobile > Settings) and sign in with your Sky iD.
Select the mobile number or SIM name you're having trouble with.
Scroll to 'Resend network settings' and select Request settings.
Save the settings when your receive them and reboot your phone.

yea that doesn't work I've tried several times and no settings come through. The pixel 6 is also not listed on the device support page.

Hey, I have the same exact same issue with the exact same phone. Did you find a fix?

No I just used the settings for another phone and it worked although the Google pixel can't get 5g so I'm only getting LTE.
That's a Google restriction apparently not a sky one.

Sorry what do you mean by using another phones settings? Apologies if it's straight forward as I'm not too familiar with this whole process. If you have any advice how to get the data working at all on my Google pixel 6 with sky mobile LTE it would be appreciated.

@irishguy2024 sorry I know what you mean now by using it on another phone, so do you still not have data for sky mobile?

Yep I have data the settings worked for that but I just don't have 5g speed. That is a Google pixel restriction unfortunately that may be rectified in the next android release I believe.

If it's not too much to ask could you send the settings? I just can't seem to get them right

Same thing happening to me on a Pixel 7. When I request the network settings nothing happens. I've managed to get LTE working, but the speeds are woeful.
Name - Sky Mobile Internet
APN - mobile.sky
These worked for me, when I manually created an APN.
I'm going to try and put my sim card into a different phone and see if 5g works on that one, at least then I'll know if it's directly a Pixel issue or a sky issue.

No news on this topic? My pixel 6a still is not able to pick up anything but LTE connection (super slow).
Seems to be a pixel issue but haven't seen any solution to it. Changing the APN settings did not do the trick

I am not 100% sure but it seems 5g is not supported as of yet on Pixels in Ireland this a google restriction and not a Sky one.
However it is very frustrating that Sky won't even correspond on the matter also.

I was previously on Vodafone and could get 5G on my pixel 7. I work in a phone store and can confirm that Sky's 5G settings simply do not work on certain brands of phone in Ireland. The only 2 brands of phone that will get 5G working immediately are Samsung and Iphone, although a few settings have to changed to get it working on Iphone.
The brands that I've tried are - Google Pixel 7, 8, 8A. Oppo, Nothing Phone, Oneplus, Xiaomi and Redmi.
I can only get LTE to work on these phones.

5G not working would be okay if 4G worked for example, but LTE basically means you don't get to use mobile data... I seem to also have basic network connectivity issues, not being reacheable for calls etc...

Has anyone managed to speak to sky on the phone about this? I tried when I first signed up but they were next to useless.
