Dubai can’t make or receive calls

In Dubai can't make calls, sky tells you to call them, I can't make calls!!!

I've tried removing depending cap and all other online advice

Sky mobile is a domestic service so shouldn't be the sole method of running a business while abroad (or in the UK).

When you need help, how can a business refer you to a community forum rather than help you? Crazy

Sky advertise their roaming, so being a domestic service simply isn't true

In the first few lines of the contract it says "Sky Mobile is a service for the personal use of UK consumers only".

I can't call a Uk landline from Dubai. The network carrier gives an automated message "number dialled not valid. Please check the number and try again" 

I have tried numerous Uk landlines and same error message occurs

I am using + 44 and dropping off the 0 for the area code

Someone else had problems yesterday making calls from Dubai.

it might be an issue the Dubai end. Make sure your spending cap isn't too low.

thanks @Daniel0210 ive done all the trouble shooting and I'm on the £2 a day roaming and on the standard £45 cap. I've not made a call yet, so maybe a network issue at Dubai end

Message saying not authorised number. In Arabic then English 

when someone calls me from Uk, nothing, no dial tone.

borrowed a phone to call Sky twice take you thru the same routine, then simply give up

and to make it clear, this is my personal phone, but use it to be contacted on emergencies. Don't carry business phone on holiday or I'd be on phone all day..

I'm in Dubai and despite trying every international code combination imaginable I get a invalid number message when I try any uk number . I cannot call the sky helpline either so absolutely screwed! Any advice gratefully received. Thanks
