Difficulty getting a replacement sim

My phone broke over 6 weeks ago. I got a new phone via my apple insurace and needed a replacement sim. I was told I needed a physical sim sent to my home address to replace the eSIM that was in my old phone. I must have made dozens of phone calls and spent hours explaining the situation. I can't receive any confirmation codes as my phone doesn't have a sim. The next step in the process involves sending the code to another sky customer. I don't know any other customers, and after this experience I wouldn't dream of recommending them. They promise call backs that don't happen. I eventually contacted ofcom, who asked me to monitor all communication, written and otherwise. Sky didn't keep notes but fortunately I recorded and took screenshots of conversations. I was informed by ofcom that sky were in fact being misleading and in breach of contract. Still no sim sent. Maybe someone can suggest an other option. I have an unusable phone  with a company that I want to leave. I can't even get a pac code because I don't have a sim to receive the text code. Help, I'm being held hostage and struggling to find a spare 3 hours to be passed from one person to the next.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
