Changing my phone to my own account

My phone is set up on my dads sky account. Is there a way to transfer this to me so the phone and plan can be on my account or the billing details change it to me, e.g. that phone and plan comes directly out of my account rather than my dads.

@charisbedford no the phone legally belongs to your dad and cannot be transferred, your only option is to transfer the money to your dad for him to continue to pay the bill

Hi @charisbedford  you can't move the phone but provided you have had the sim more than 12 months there is a complicated way to get your sim onto your account.

Re: Changing my phone to my own account

I've had the sim for three years next month. I've just upgraded my phone, so how would it work?

is there not a way to change the billing details for that phone and sim to mine?

For the sim you would need to:

Order a new sim via your own account and activate it.

Get a Pac code for the sim you already have a transfer it to a PAYG network then get another pac code to move it back to your new Sky sim that is on your own account.

Not the phone @charisbedford  sky don't allow the transfer of credit agreements. To get your number to your account then login to your account and order a new sim/plan, when it arrives you activate it. Next get a  PAC from sky for your number on your dad's account and port that number to a different network on PAYG then port it back to your new sim.
