Changed number - new sim

How do I take off an old sim that I'm not using. Got a new sim! I have checked and I'm still paying for the old sim for calls, messages and data at £8!! 😱😡

Call Sky on 150 to cancel the sim which you can only do if you have been paying it for 12 months or more.
