Can no longer connect to Sky internet abroad

Currently in Australia.  When I arrived in Australia my mobile connected to a local SP instantly but now stopped.  I've tried the online guides to reconnect automatically and manually but, when I try to save the info I've inputted they are not being saved!  So at the moment I can't make or receive calls or text messages.

To avoid confusion, you aren't connecting to 'Sky internet abroad'.  It's cellular data and other services provided by an Australian network, accessed from a handset containing a Sky Mobile SIM.

Re: Can no longer connect to Sky internet abroad

Hi, my phone connected to an Australian network when I first arrived, but this has now stopped working and I can't reconnect.  I've tried all the guidance online from Sky, but no success.

Hi @Rozzer5  you aren't the first to report an issue in Australia in the last week or two. If you have tried ALL the troubleshooting that sky have suggested then there isn't much more anyone can say. Can you confirm you have tried searching for and connecting to different local networks ? And confirm you have tried the sim application changes mentioned in the troubleshooting ? As others with this issue said they had done all the troubleshooting then found that the second option above actually worked having not tried it during the troubleshooting.

@Rozzer5

Have you been there long enough, and used your phone enough, to have possibly exceeded the relatively new fair usage policy?

Roaming using Roaming Passport Plus is now limited to 25GB per billing period.

From Skys own website...

When you roam using our Roaming Passport Plus, we consider that up to 25GB per billing period is a reasonable amount of data to use. If you exceed this amount, we'll assume that you're no longer using data in the way expected of a reasonable customer for periodic travel.

We may suspend your service, restrict your usage, or charge you for the data that you use in excess of these amounts (currently £2.50 per GB), and we'll let you know by SMS or email before we do so.
