In future if you want to make a manual payment, to prevent the automatic payment being taken out as well, you need to make sure the full payment is showing as credit on your Sky account at least 4 working days before your payment due date.
A credit will now appear on your account for the amount you have overpaid. This will be used to pay your next bill so on that bill date no money should be taken from your account. If you want the overpayment refunded to you, you should ring Sky.
