Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe fact calls are still going to your other phone does suggest it has completed yet so it might be worth calling Sky on the free 150 number and asking them about this as they should be able to check this for you.

My number has transferred but I can't receive sms texts or calls as the phone number is still showing as the temporary number, I have tried to manually update but it keeps reverting back to the temp number

Just to add it has been disabled by EE on my other phone so the porting has been cleared on EE's end

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt can take a few attempts to get it to save so if you haven't already try rebooting your phone and if all else fails a replacement sim that you can order will come with the correct number:

I had difficulty porting and started the process again
this worked but please check all avenues that your previous service provider has cleared all the bits off and you are soley with sky

Thanks all I managed to do it by resetting my network settings my only problem is now is I can't always make outgoing calls! I have to turn my phone off and back on really frustrating

Hi, I have tried to do this however when changing and pressing save it reverts back to the other number and not the one I changed over. Please help.

I did this as advised by someone else and it worked for me!
1. On your iPhone go to Settings / Messages and disable Message
2. Go to Settings / General. Scroll right to the bottom until you see Transfer or Reset iPhone
3. Hit Reset *NOT* Erase All Content and Settings
4. Hit Reset Network Settings from the drop down list.

I'm having an issue with this too, I was with Tesvo and gave the PAC code to sky, was told this would be completed 14th November. It's now the 15th and when anyone trys to call me it tells them that they have dialled an incorrect number. I have restored the phone tens of times, tried changing the number on 'my number' page but just changes back to the number I don't want

I spoke with Sky yesterday afternoon as the Tesco sim had completely stopped working but the Sky sim wasn't working, she told me to wait until midnight and restart the phone and all will be working. The internet is working and I can dial out but I cannot recieve calls as it says my number doesn't exist

I was transferring from EE. I got the PAC and activated the SIM in my account. Put the new SIM in the phone and it worked, except in the top left it showed two signals EE and sky. Now a day later it says no service and sky. How do I get rid of the no service? Thank you

Settings - Phone - My Number and change it if it is wrong, then reboot the phone.
