@LeeReeve, feel your pain with this. I'm in exactly the same position. So frustrating seeing people who ordered weeks after you getting their phones before people that pre ordered.

Re: Apple iPhone 17 range and iPhone Air available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

A few weeks ago, I mentioned that I placed my order on September 14th, 2025, for two iPhone 17 Pro Max devices.

In early November, I was informed by Sky that one of the orders was stuck in their system and would not be delivered. They cancelled it and promised a refund within 3–5 business days.

After that period passed with no refund, I contacted them again, and they said the order was still active but marked as “undelivered”, which was supposedly normal. Once I questioned this, they admitted that “undelivered” actually meant the order would not be fulfilled and was stuck in the system. I was then forced to confirm a cancellation, and the refund only came through after I initiated a chargeback with my bank.

A few days later, customer service reached out to check how things went. I explained the whole situation, and they ended up cancelling the second order as well, claiming that because I had done a chargeback, they couldn’t proceed with the remaining one. However, these were two separate upfront payments, and I only requested a chargeback for the cancelled order.

In the end, both orders placed on September 14th were cancelled for absolutely no reason. They could have simply kept the remaining order open and delivered the phone once it was back in stock — but instead, they chose to cancel everything.

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated. Sky held my money for almost two months, only to cancel both orders in the end. On top of that, I still have two eSIM orders linked to those purchases, and I have no idea what to do with them now.

After both cancellations, my credit check now shows an upfront charge of €800 instead of €400, even though each phone originally required a separate €399 upfront payment. So, not only did they cancel both orders, but it also seems to have affected my credit record.

Honestly, I am considering taking legal action for all the trouble and financial impact this situation has caused.

I've just spoken to sky about my iPhone 17 pro max 512gb silver and they said the phone was given to DPD today and I should receive tracking information tomorrow... not getting my hopes up though. I ordered on 26th September 🙄

Phoned Sky this morning as was promised a call back when I spoke to them Tuesday.. still no update approaching 5 week mark on the IPhone 17 pro max cosmic orange. This time was told it would come quicker if I cancel it and re-order with her on the phone.. after seeing comments on here opted against that and just said not to worry. Have noticed other colours appearing as in stock on website, wondering at this point whether to cancel and re-order new colour. Not sure what impact that would have with another credit check mind! The wait carry's on..

Ordered my 17 pm 256Gb silver on pre order day 12th September.

I was told 2 weeks ago by the complaints team that stock was arriving this week.

Instead, today Sky have decided to cancel the order.

An absolute joke shop.

Never again, my 2 Sims will be moving to another company who can have a phone with me by next week.

I've also cancelled all my sports and cinema with sky after almost 20 years. Disgraceful way to be treated
