@Naomi24 that usually means your parcel was late getting to the delivery depot. The M5 around Taunton was closed this morning, if that is near you that could be the problem. But as i said it usually means late arrival to the depot.

Update on my recent experience Sorry for the long post, its been one of a day

After speaking to a sectional manager yesterday that stated my device will be delivered today and ill get email yesterday it in fact did not arrive with no emails. Phone at 8:55am this morning and was transferred to 10 different advisors with finally getting off the phone at 6pm this evening, i have been hung up on, told to leave and go to a different provider, an advisor tried to cancel my order without my permission (its at fulfilment centre so apparently cant be cancelled its been there since friday apparently awaiting dispatch), told that orders are not being dealt with in order date allocation but are being processed in a priority basis, told that all advisors over the last 2 weeks even 2 sectional managers were lieing to customers with misinformation. Told i would get a call back in a couple of minutes (never came) told i would get a call back from a manager at packaging and distribution within the hour (never came). Got told that its more than a 4 week wait and the delivery date stating upon order was wrong on the email confirmation. They said they dont have any stock and currently dont know when stock will be arriving but its not expected this week although they did get stock on friday 26th, somebody else said its not possible for people to order after release day to already have their devices despite my partner ordered his on the 26th and it arrived 2 days ago for the exact same model, colour and storage so questioned this with a different advisor and they couldnt explain. Escalated the case to a formal complaint as my cases of complaint keep getting closed without them even getting in touch. Put through to the cancallation team that tried to sell me a discounted samsung and tablet. Offered £10 compensation with able to claim for more once the phone arrives. Nobody at sky knows what is going on, get off the phone to recieve an email saying DPD are expecting my parcel from sky with tracking showing its on its way to my local store so heavens knows where they managed to get stock from. Looked on my app and its now showing that the device coming is for an order that was supposed to cancelled.

Currently i have no idea what will be arriving tomorrow but something is on its way

Argos has the pro max blue 512 in stock currently if anyone's fed up of waiting . Still no information on my phone from sky

Still baffled, had a message obviously a couple of weeks ago to say by the 4th as stock would be in 26th

then they said oh it'll be by 11th because stocks now not due until 3rd October 

then had another message to say it'll be here by 4th so I asked them to clarify and this person said they wouldn't even give an estimate as they don't know when they'll get their stock now.

they keep throwing out phrases like 'to clarify' while clarifying absolutely nothing at all, I'd rather they just came out and said we literally do not know and give people the choice to cancel but they won't even let you do that.

again, my issue isn't the delay it's the stream of muddy water coming from Sky and then making out like you've got something wrong when you've got what they said as clear as day written in front of you.

@Becky144  exactly they say no you haven't received any messages when your looking at them in black and white. Even when I've told them I'll send the the screenshot they say no because the system shows you haven't been sent any messages

Sooo I wish I'd come and read all of this before ordering my iPhone 17 pro in silver. This would of definitely prevented me from going with sky. I dread to think when my new phone will arrive now.

To be fair its not just Sky. EE have long waits, Raylo have 2 month waiting list. I woukd start pre ordering the Iphone 18 as by the time we get our 17's the 18 will be out lol

I've now seen people who ordered 12 days after me and have received their devices before me

How is this even allowed? No seriously now can someone who orders 12 days later than another person recieve their phone before them?

@DantheSwan I ordered at 1:30 on the 12th and am seeing countless people that ordered the exact same spec phone a week after me getting their devices.

Sky are beyond pathetic and their "customer service" is ridiculously poor.

Well I got told yesterday by one advisor that it's based on priority status and not by order date. Given what I have seen from here this seems to be true. My husband ordered his over a week after me and he received his within 48 hours. When questioned with sky they couldn't give an answer to how wrong that is

I ordered the iPhone 17 pro max. I'm doing the sky swap. I have no idea when the phone is coming it just says coming soon... anyone got a idea on estimated wait time?. Also they won't start charging me monthly for the new phone until recive it will they?
