Why can i not cancel my order and get a refund?

So I have pre ordered the iPhone air 1TB light gold on 12th September 2025. The order is just continuously saying in process and coming soon. I have since cancelled my swap. But the iPhone Air still remains on my account " order awaiting dispatch" I have phoned sky today to ask for order to be cancelled and my £26 upfront payment and piggybank data to be refunded. Apparently my order is in fullfment process. The only option available to me now is to wait for the phone to be dispatched and refuse delivery when it arrives. Apparently only then will I be refunded. I also just want to say that I have since ordered the iPhone air with another network. They delivered promptly. I am using it to write this message.  Is anyone else facing this issue?

Finally got a straight answer today. They're out of stock in Ireland. So the waiting on a delivery today or tomorrow. Most believable assistant that I've come across anyway.

Action required for phone

Wondering whether anybody could help me so I ordered an iPhone 17pm on the 26th and I know yes it won't be coming yet but on my order tracking it shows up as action required now my credit checks went through and I have a order confirmation email I also spoke to sky on the phone and they have said that it is due to the backlog and that when they have stock it will update to coming soon does anyone else have the same issue or any idea whether my order definitely has gone through. I obviously don't want to wait a month to find out that I haven't actually got an order.

thanks

Ordered pro max 17 blue 256gb on 26/09 and wasn't expecting quick turnaround but I go away for a month on 10th November and have to have phone by them. Already getting worried!

Re: Apple iPhone 17 range and iPhone Air available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

Ordered blue pro 256gb on the 12th at 1:05pm received not updates order still showing as coming soon. Phoned up and was told they are aware of the order but they don't know when more stock will be coming.

I'm happy that people are getting their phones but how is it reasonable that someone who ordered nearly 2 weeks after me is getting there's first? Shocking service, own your mistakes people will respect you more for it.

Iphone 17 Pro Max Order

I ordered an iphone 17 pro max on the 19th september. I've spoke to customer service on the phone to be told i'd receive it in 3-5 working days. those days have passed i spoke to someone else he said the same thing. I've seen people who have ordered after i did and have they have received their device already. Does anyone know what i can do as i'm genuinely thinking of cancelling it and going else where.

Exact same thing happening to me. Sky just keep saying oh it's coming in 3-5 working days. they've said that multiple times to me. I don't get how other people have ordered after but they get it before we do

@Idk_123

You might have a few weeks to wait yet because as usual with these new iphones every year Apple can not keep up with the demand.

The latest on your order should be found here:

What shows on the link I posted for you as that is good as you will get as nobody here can say for sure when you will receive it but others who ordered before you are still waiting.
