@jono2000 Deliveries are slow due to Apple not having enough stock for the amount of orders made, it happens pretty much every year when they release the new phones.

Guys according to a lot of people in this thread, sky are working through the backlog and more and more of you are getting the DPD notification for your phone. Let's give the advisors a rest please and just be patient, remember, you will get your phone soon.

Give the agents a rest? From what, a job they are being paid to do? lol!

Maybe if they didn't lie they wouldn't get so many complaints/people calling back multiple times.

I ordered the iPhone 17 pro 256 gb in blue on the 25th and the phone was shipped yesterday by dpd. Set to arrive today, but I am unable to collect it, so I've set it to tomorrow. So it's at the local hub waiting to be delivered. Hope all of you waiting get some good news as well, I feel it's coming your way.

They're not "lying" to you, they simply don't know. Agents are usually talking to multiple people at the same time. Imagine having to deal with 4 people going off at you for information you don't have lol.

@JoshuaWax
l’m afraid you aren’t speaking to Sky Customer Services by posting here. This is a customer ➡️ customer discussion forum where we try to help other Sky customers.

As we’re customers we have no insight into current stock levels or any delivery timescales. The most up to date information (after credit checks are complete) on your particular order should become available at:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/track-sky-order

When your order is ready you should get an email from Sky, and then another from the courier (in the UK that’s usually DPD) which should have details of your 1 hour delivery time slot.

Any orders for iPhone 17 models are likely to be delayed for longer which happens every year when a new iPhone is launched.

Well when you get told it will arrive in "24-48 hours", "by 26th Sep", "no phones have been shipped to anyone" then yes they are lying.

Now there's a simple solution to that "I'm really sorry for the delay but we don't currently have a delivery date as we are out of stock due to high demand but you will receive an email as soon as it's been dispatched"

No lies, no false promises, no **bleep**. Nice and easy.

Hi, I ordered on the 13th and received today so they have got stock and I got told at the weekend it will come on the 4th October so hopefully you will get yours soon.

The agents are either lying through their teeth, or have not got the first clue what is going on and are winging it.

Either way, it's abysmal customer service from Sky.

I ordered 17 PM 256 in blue at 1:30pm on the 12th.

I've yet to encounter anyone from Sky who can explain why people who ordered an identical phone a week after me have

already received their devices.

Literally just had my DPD email while at 40000 feet on a flight from Doha to Heathrow! And the weirdest thing was I was just in the process of trying to cancel my order for the silver pro which I only placed on the 22nd! Anyway DPD are apparently expecting it & it's due to be delivered tomorrow (weds)! We shall wait and see 👍🏻
