Re: Apple iPhone 17 range and iPhone Air available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

@SarahBW1

Yeah mine still says coming soon! I signed the agreement at 7pm on the Friday and at 9:42 got an email from sky to say that my order was confirmed! When I pre ordered delivery was still from Friday 19th but the next day it said from Friday 26th so I'm worried that when they confirmed my order it's not going to come till the 26th and I really wanted it before then hahaha I'm so impatient

Same here! I'm impatient and wanted it to come before my scary work meeting next week lol.

I'm waiting on an agent to text me back so I'll update you with what they say

UPDATE FOR THOSE WHO ORDERED THE PRO MAX.

This is the response I got from the agent, especially if you ordered the Pro Max, im guessing due to the demand, and it being the best seller on pre-order day, I am also doing this through swap too, so that may affect the delivery date.

Update from sky: I am NOT hopeful it will be here Friday. They are saying that orders will be received 1-3 working days AFTER dispatch and dispatch won't happen until tomorrow, Friday 19th. I am guessing from these timelines it'll be Monday at the earliest...

I agree, what's the whole point in pre-ordering. But I suppose with the demand in every phone provider too, stock may be limited

Photos take a while to be approved and go through. I will copy and paste the text here from the Sky advisor:

Just to keep you fully informed — the delivery process for your Apple iPhone 17 is scheduled to begin from 19th September. Here's how it will work:

Delivery Process Overview:

Order Processing & Dispatch

Your order will be prepared and securely packed for dispatch. Once it leaves our warehouse, you'll receive a confirmation email or SMS with tracking details.

Courier Handover

The device will be handed over to our trusted delivery partner. From this point, you can track the progress of your parcel in real time using the provided tracking number.

Delivery to Your Address

Depending on your location and courier schedules, delivery usually takes 1-3 working days after dispatch.

Someone may need to be present to sign for the package, especially as it's a high-value item.

What to Expect in the Box iPhone 17 (sealed in original Apple packaging)

USB-C to Lightning cable (as per Apple's packaging standards)

Documentation

(Please note: Apple no longer includes charging bricks or earphones in the box.)

Re: Apple iPhone 17 range and iPhone Air available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

@SarahBW1 Well exactly hahaha. It said delivery on the 19th September so how is that series now suddenly being sent from the 26th??? How bizarre! Although I've had the email from DPD to say they are expecting it soon and usually they only send that when its due in the next few days so bit odd!!

Re: Apple iPhone 17 range and iPhone Air available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

Just got 2 e-mails from Sky. One is information about my order that says my order will be with me soon and a tracking number is provided. The 2nd is just about setting up an eSIM.

When checking the My Orders page, it now says Thursday 18th September under "Expected delivery date" which is obviously incorrect. When checking the tracking number via the DPD website, it says "We've received your order details, and we're expecting your parcel shortly". No e-mail yet from DPD themselves though (maybe coming soon).
