back order

Hi 

 

i just purchased the iphone 16 pro and it initially said within 1 week order now it says back order , if i knew it was back order i wouldn't have ordered as i am going on holiday and i need it before then , what can i do ?

by: @Emz0794 yeah i think 6 weeks should be long enough for me to justify contacting them. that'll be the 3rd/4th of December. I don't mind the waiting, for me it's just the christmas deadline that i'm worried about.

 

I hope you do take you complaint further. At least the site made it clear to me when ordering that I'll have a wait longer than 4 weeks. I can't imagine what it's been like for you and everyone else waiting and being told either nothing or lies!😑

@Helena95 when I ordered it said 3 weeks. Like don't get me wrong, I appreciate some people who ordered before me are in the same boat as me. But it's taking the **bleep** some people are ordering now and getting it within 2 weeks. 
I have taken it further and will continue to do so even after I receive my phone now. I reckon you should have it by Christmas, I'm going to chase again tomorrow and hopefully be put in contact with whoever I spoke to the other day. But it's done now, they have messed up and now will have to deal with whatever consequences come their way

Ordered mine last month and it said estimated delivery time was 4 weeks. Still no change in my order after 4 weeks.

I ordered the iPhone 16 Pro Max on October 4th and haven’t had any updates since then. Last Friday, I finally received an email saying it would be delivered by November 4th, and that I'd get a notification the day before. Well, it’s now Monday morning, and I got no email last night. The order still shows "In Progress" on the app, and there are no DPD alerts or any sign of it arriving. This has really gotten my hopes up only to leave me frustrated—what’s going on?

I ordered my Pro Max WT 256g on 4th October and delivery was stated within 4 weeks. Received a text on 25th October saying should be her by 8th November. Spoke to Sky online yesterday to ask when I might receive the phone as it was over 4 weeks and by looking at this forum that there wasn't much chance of it being delivered by 8th November and it is a present for my daughters birthday. I was told by Sky that they release the phone before pre ordering and they can't always guarantee the delivery times! I said they should give an estimate if they have no plans on sticking to that delivery time frame. Asked for compensation and that was ignored. I decided to cancel my order and re-order the Pro Max 256g in Natural Titanium as that said it will be delivered within a week. Let's see how true that delivery timescale is otherwise I'll be cancelling all together. Giff Gaff is available next day so it's clearly a problem with Sky and not Apple supply!

@ClareKealy Let us know here when you get the 256GB in Natural Titanium as that's the one I'm waiting for and have already been for 2 weeks so it'll be interesting to see if you get it within the week as stated on the website

Well, as per the text, they have 4 days to get my phone to me, if it isn't here I'll also cancel. 5 weeks is plenty of waiting.

Hi, ordered two phones. Ordered on the 12th October, one Pro NT 128g and Pro Max WH. Pro came in 6 days and still waiting for the Max. 

hope it's here this week as the text said 2-3 weeks. Now in the 4th. 

If it's not here by Saturday I'm cancelling the Max.

Back order

My iPhone 16 pro max says "currently on back order" but says ill get within 1 week? Is that the case or will I need to wait longer?

Well that's encouraging.  I shall not hold my breath though. Looks like the wait could be on the pro Max more.  I'm can't understand the delays though.  My son got his the next day with his provider
