Apple iPhone 16 range now available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

I just called my local sky who have a desk and I just asked if they have any phones and I was met with the most rudest person I think I've spoke to at sky 

I think I might cancel my order

apparently, according to the manager i'm still speaking with, there is no option to be put as a priority order. so i've said, "well, why would they say they've been put as a priority if there isn't an option? surely, that means your staff have lied to customers."

Sky outlet desks (usually on the concourse in shopping centres) do not stock equipment. All phones have to be delivered by courier to the account holders address for security reasons. 

edit: actual Sky Stores may be different.

The Sky store in Bluewater did have some iPhone 16 pro in stock yesterday to buy and take away, not get delivered but they boy had limited colour and storage

i said to the manager: "if i haven’t heard anything by the first week of october as i was told earlier, i’ll be cancelling my order because this is ridiculous." and it is. earlier, i got told i'll definitely get an update by the first week of october, and now i'm being told i might have to wait until november? i'm sorry, but that completely disregards the entire point of pre-ordering

@Daniel0210 totally get that, but the way i have just been spoken to buy two members of sky has been appalling

one member of customer service has basically called me a liar and told me to tell him all the peoples details who have received their phones before me so he can pull them up in which he did nothing but shout at me

@champagneslay  Wishing I'd ordered with EE. They at least have estimated dates for their orders. Been reading their forum and those who ordered on 17/18 sept have estimated dates on 4-8 oct. More than what we have from sky. Just empty promises and 'in progress-coming soon'. When the heck is soon???

@jagb @Suze181 I just called up again after being shouted at - he was super nice and told me I had called the bereavement team??? idk how but he sat and listened to me and said it's completely not ok to be shouting at anyone but he said the complains are internal and he said i don't think there's ever gunna be any outcomes for them. he said it's a waiting game🤷‍♀️
