I have also contacted Sky tonight to log a complaint and escalate this issue. I ordered on pre order day, had a message to say expect delivery by 27th Sept and nothing else. Not a single word. Firstly I was told there is a back log with DPD to which I questioned how this was relevant as surely DPD don't hold all of skys stock and sky would surely know if my phone was dispatched to them. I was placed on hold and when he came back he said I received an email saying the phone will be with me 21st Oct, which I haven't! I re checked my messages and emails and not a single thing to say this. Not acceptable if this is the case! Apparently there was a case note on my order to say this! When I asked to speak with a superior, the guy asked me what I expect to get from that! Well a delivery date for a start but the main point is for their system to be changed. The phone I chose said 20th Sept on the pre order from the get go which was a lie, then I was told 27th which again was a lie, how do they not know how many handsets they will be allocated for initial pre orders? It should be first come first served! The pre order queue system was an AWFUL experience too. I know it's just a phone but I've had to go back to using an old honor 10 lite which is one step to being thrown out the window, I sold my 14 pro max to preserve the original quote thinking I'd have a new phone after a couple days. I also mentioned about people ordering later than release day receiving there's sooner too, the guy listened and wrote everything down in my complaint but the only thing I got from the entire call was it will be anytime between now and 21st. It's not acceptable.
My app still just shows in progress - coming soon.
If I knew of any in stock I would cancelling heartbeat along with my other sky services but I can't cope with this back up phone for that long lol
Well that's my rant for the day

@CarlosTS @Feel exactly the same. Apparently mine was due to a technical glitch. Got my first bill free from complaining but no actual phone

Those who ordered on the pre order itself doesn't got the phone so i only ordered on 17th 512gb DT PM
So my doubt is I'm going on a holiday on Oct 2-9 so if it comes btw this days will the dpd hold the parcel or do the send back? Anyone have any idea?
By the way i didn't even received any expected dates or anything, just coming soon that's it.

@VBNair @You might get it before us if anything's to go by. I ordered on 13th and people have got there's who ordered days after. You might be lucky!! DPD will send it back I believe

@champagneslay i didn't even get a expected msg or anythint, just order confirmation msg, that's it( recently sim got completed that was the only update i had)

@VBNair when you get the notification you can rearrange the delivery to a later date and DPD will hold it for you.
they will only send it back if you have 2 failed deliveries

@champagneslay I can't believe what I have just read! An order in 17th and we still don't have ours. Not had chance to do my follow up yet so will be tomorrows job in the morning.

Well, I received a message from sky saying expect to deliver by 27th (today) but nothing. My tracking still shows "in progress". No apology, no update. Not feeling appreciated by sky. 😞

@Suze181 I know! What the f*** are they playing at. I think everyone needs to banned together and complain because it's clear from my experience today they don't give a toss about their customers.
@Ritch24 Get in contact tonight before 9 and see if they say anything. Mines been exactly the same since last friday.

@champagneslay I called this morning but was pretty much treated like I was wrong and they implied my message saying delivery by today was still possible despite no DPD tracking. Obviously nothing arrived. The guy I spoke to also liked talking over me
