At the time of ordering if it said it will take 4 weeks then that is what you are looking at. Have you been sent any emails after placing the order as they might also give you a delivery estimate,

 

Yoh are looking at a few weeks for the upfront payment to be returned.

Yes, I got the confirmation mail for the order and the estimated delivery time is 4 weeks. But I want to cancel that.

Placed my pre-order for an iPhone 16 Pro Max White Titanium 512gb on 13 September at 18:20 and was told at the time if the order to expect delivery on 20 September. I then received two text messages from Sky telling me that "...we expect your iPhone 16 Pro Max to de delivered by 27 September. We'll email you the day before it's delivered." Needless to say, I didn't get an email and it was not delivered today!

I spoke with a call centre agent yesterday to get some update and he told me that "..,your order is presently in the fulfilment centre and is awaiting pick up for a delivery" and "..as you are a loyal customer for over 15 years, I'll prioritise your delivery." Yeh, okay!

I then spoke to Rachel on live chat at 11:34 this morning who told me "...I see that your order is in stock today and once it's dispatched you will be notified" but then the connection was lost, so I rang the call centre to confirm what I had just been told. 
The guy in the call centre - who was very polite - then told me that this wasn't true and that "..all the iPhone 16 Pro Max's are 'expected' to be in stock on the 16th October."

Three different agents, three different accounts and now I'm more despondent than ever! It's not the waiting that I have an issue with....it's the constant lies and blatant obfuscation!

Sky's own policy regarding 'Delivery/Delays' is copied below:

 

Sometimes manufacturer deliveries can be late. If this happens, we'll send you a message ahead of time to let you know there's been a delay and keep you updated during each stage of delivery. 
We'll stay in contact with the manufacturer or supplier for more information on the delivery, then we'll update you with your new expected delivery date."

 

 Sky are rinsing customers left, right and centre and could not care less whether you've pre-ordered or not and are not even prioritising customers who placed their orders on the 13th! 

I have been a loyal customer to Sky for over 15 years and I have five devices with them and they still treat you like s***! It really isn't good enough!

 

It's gone beyond the waiting now for me and it's now the blatant lies that they keep telling!

I have ordered the iPhone 16 pro max 256GB desert titanium on 13/09 2:14pm.

I have been waiting for an email from DPD about my 16 Pro Max for 2 weeks now

Ordered my  iPhone 16 pro max on the  14th of September  to get a message on the 19th from Sky to say it would be delivered on the 27th of September never got an email to say it was on its way or that DPD have.  Spent my day off waiting for any information from Sky or DPD the thing is I'm back to work tomorrow my boyfriends passport is out of date  and we don't share the same last name so it will most likely be sent back to sky 😞

Well I got the text last week saying we expect to deliver your order by the 27th after originally being told 20th and it's the 27th and I have yet to hear anything about delivery for today so it's not looking good 🤣

Hi @DarkLady2788  you normally get the notification the day before so if you didn't get it yesterday then you probably won't get your phone today. What does your order status say in your account ?

15/09 - I ordered iPhone 16 Plus in black. I got a text from SKY (already a mobile customer) saying it would be delivered by 27/09. My order still shows in progress.

 

Today I spoke with Hameed via the online chat who said the text I received was a "glitch" and SKY do not have the stock and could not offer any timeframe for delivery at all. He/she could also offer no explanation as to why SKY are taking orders for products they do not stock and cannot deliver.

 

I realise in the wider world not having my new phone is hardly a catastrophe but it still leaves a sour taste dealing with such a useless incompetent company.
