Activated wrong sim

We had ordered an iPhone 13 with physical sim (which arrived) and an iPad Air with eSIM (on back order)
when setting up the iPhone 13 sim, I must have click into the contract for the iPad Air by mistake. The check box was already selected for SIM card (not eSIM) and I've added the code received with the iPhone. as the sim's names are linked to our sons and once I'd activated, I noticed the account for the iPad Air appeared to have its sim activated though we'd ordered an eSIM.

the contracts are the same (25gb per month)  but now worried that when the iPad arrives in a few weeks, I'll be trying to activate an eSIM against a contract with a physical sim. 
is there a quick fix?

When the iPad arrives see what happens, if it was you to activate an eSIM then don't as you can order a physical sim for it via here:
