Mobile Data disappearing?

I had a message to say that mobile data was almost gone - rolled 2 Gb data three days ago. The following day had another message to say that mobilke data was almost gone again. Rolled another 1Gb - less than an hour later had a message to say that the data was gone. Checke my mobile account and sure enough, the data filed is at zero. The phone has only minimal use for surfing etc - is there an issue with my account or handset?

Hi @crabbyoldgit  your phones data monitor should tell you what's using the data. Quite often it's facebook or X auto playing videos. Another thing to do is when at home on WiFi turn off mobile data in case your phone is dropping WiFi and using mobile data.

I get that, but the phone has gone for almost a month using less than 1Gb, then its gone through 3 in less than 2 days....I haven't added any new apps, the ones I have are not performing any differently to the way they were previously. Its really weird tbh.
