Sky not working on ps4

I have just downloaded the sky app on my ps4 and I cannot watch anything as it comes up with the message 'to watch this programme you will need to purchase the sky go extra package'. I am using my parents account and we can watch any programme but for some reason not on the ps4 even though we are using the same account. Can this be resolved if possible?

As the message says to use the Sky app on a console you need Sky Go Extra on the account.

To get this you’ll need a Sky Multiscreen subscription or a Sky Glass Whole Home subscription or you can pay the monthly cost of £5 for it. It can also be free if you are a Sky Mobile customer or via Sky VIP as a reward. So give Sky a call who will work out the best way to get it added to your account.

So, even if you have sky box Q, already paying monthly, you cannot watch it on ps4 in the same household? So, I either pay an extra £5 on the account to watch sky on ps4 or I could just go downstairs to watch it and save £5? Is this correct? Because this makes no sense when it's connected in the same building, with the same account?!

If you don't have Q multiscreen on your account and if it isn't showing up as a reward via Sky VIP then yes it does cost £5 per month to get it added to your account. The fact your console is in the same property and on the same network doesn't come into it I'm afraid.

**bleep** takers. the amount of money i pay them and they dont allow me to us app on a ps4.
