Hi,
I am also in West Yorkshire (Kirklees), having the same issue. Google play doesn't download over WiFi and YouTube buffers like crazy since the evening of Friday 10th. The interesting thing is that when I use a VPN I have no issues. I tried changing to Google DNS but that didn't change anything. I am on FTTC if that helps with anything but I feel though as a VPN works, it looks to be backend issue on Sky's part.
I called up sky reporting this issue and they're sending a new router in the post as my current router is now old. I'm not sure if this will do anything but I'm happy to try it.

Hi @ADozer
I have had a new router in the past few days, unfortunately hasn't helped.
As you say think its an issue with the network somewhere, hopefully we will get an update soon from Sky.

I have the same problem in Huddersfield. have received a new router which made no diffrence. Am going to try calling them again today but don't hold out much hope of a resolution

The customer service rep I spoke to said it had been raised but he would raise it again and to give it a couple of weeks before calling again. They have until next Friday as I am away most of next week 🙄

Same here in Wakefield, I rang Sky yesterday & the are sending out engineers I can't see what they will do but I am happy for them to try.

This is ongoing. I cannot update apps. I can't watch sky go. All of this is costing money with having to use mobile data. Please can someone acknowledge this issue and let us know when it will be resolved. It isn't good enough. Thinking of cancelling my sky broadband if not fixed soon.

I'm already looking at alternatives for when my contract ends. Thankfully not affecting my work as I do work from home.

Good morning,
Any updates on this issue please?

Engineer has been and was very good and approachable but said it is a known fault and took some details of my phone. They could not apologise enough but did say it may take a week or so to fix. The more that log the issue the better.

Has anyone had this resolved yet?

Nothing yet for me, still having the same issue.

Good Evening,
Just an update from my side, started to see improvements today.
Youtube seems to be working as well as the apps being updated.
Not sure if the issue has been resolved however thought I would mention it.
