Hi. I dont have any of the services. I have sky glass and my only device for sky go is my xbox and phone. Phone works fine though?

Sky glass. 2 devices registered. Phone works fine but xbox doesnt anymore.

Hi all,
Some clarification for those having issues here as there are a lot of the same questions. In order to watch Sky on a console you need to have ONE of the following as part of your subscription package:
Check your Sky bill to see if you have the above. If you do have one of the above packages, but still not able to watch Sky on your console, please call Sky and it will be looked into, or we can escalate the issue to a Community Messaging team.

Having this problem on my Xbox,
Highly frustrated as it was working not long ago. All devices showing on sky go and nothing to say I can use them. All works fine on mobile and tablet. My subscription or products haven't changed so should all work as before.
I refuse to pay for multiscreen for the "luxury" of watching sky on an Xbox.

There was a bug before, giving people console access that should not have had it, so people have had the service without paying the extra for console

You can have Sky Go Extra on your account, and that can cost either £5 or can be free so give Sky a call if you want this added as they will look into the best way to get it added to your account.

Hi Clare. I tried to call sky at the time and was around number 18 in the queue. And now ive just gone to check what subs i have but you are updating or maintaining the website so i cant check.
Has something changed in the polucy though? As i said all was working fine until a few weeks ago and my subscriptions changed. So either something is wrong/broken or youve changed the rules somewhere because my subscriptions same as it always was. Thanks

Find out moreNothing has changed as it has always been a requirement that you need Sky Multiscreen, or Sky Whole Home or Sky Go Extra on your account but due to a bug the app has been working if you haven't had any of these on your account so with the latest version this buy has been fixed.

Thanks. Makes sense. But why does it work on phone but not xbox? Why do you need an upgraded subscription to watch on xbox but basic seems to work on phones?

Games consolse have more subscription requirements than other devices because they are used on TVs

You do not need those 3 for a phone but you do for a gaming console.
