Hey,
Im having this same issue as well since the update;
"You can't use sky go on this device yet. You'll need Sky Q Multiscreen, Sky glass whole home or sky go extra"
I also have a subscription and it's worked for years but stopped today.
Please help 🙂

Good question; I can't actually tell! I assume sky go extra as I've always watched it on sky go? I've got 4/5 different registered devices that I've used over the years so not sure why this Xbox has stopped unless sky have changed their packages maybe?
I'm also a platinum VIP member if that helps?

Consoles used to have a TV from Sky app and have only recently changed to Sky Go, in moving to Sky Go they have change the subscription validation

Many accounts slipped through the net and were using TV from Sky without the require subscriptions, the new Sky Go app tries to fix this

Ah okay.. I can't see my subscriptions at the minute, trying to find the right page.
sky go still works on my laptop with the latest update tho if that helps; just not this Xbox.

It's a Sky Go Extra issue that is required for Consoles but optional for other devices

Ahh okay I think that may be it then.. this is all I have on TV
I've looked back through my bills and have never had any of those other subs though so not sure why it always used to work on xbox and still does on my laptop without the other subs?

As stated above by @Annie+UK Sky Go will work on a laptop without any further subscription required but to use the app on a console you have always needed Sky Go Extra but a fault with the app on the console has let people such as yourself use it without having Sky Go Extra on your account. There has been an update to that app that will now enforce this so now you will need to call Sky so they can look into the nest way of getting Sky Go Extra added to your account.

Do either of you happen to know what sky go extra costs by any chance?
Hopefully can be added on as a perk for a diamond VIP customer or some such 🤞
