Hi all,
I'm on a 2021 macbook pro on OS VENTURA. Sky Go has suddenly stopped working (it loads up but its stuck on loading content)
I've deleted it and reinstalled again and restarted my mac, no luck.
Any help would be grand.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreAll you can try is a complete removal if this is what you haven't done yet:
Uninstall the app
Launch the Finder, go to the Downloads folder and delete ‘SkyGoInstaller.’
In Finder, go to the Applications folder and delete Sky Go app
Remove Sky Go files
In the Finder select Go to folder ... from the Go menu (or press c).
A dialog box should appear. Now copy and paste the following text into the box and press the return key: ~/Library/Application Support/
Select the Sky Go folder and delete it
Empty Recycling Bin
Reboot the Mac
Download and reinstall Sky Go

Just for the record, this fix no longer works (believe me, I've tried it ten or eleven times) on M2 macs running macOS Sonoma 14.3.1. Very dissapointing technical service from Sky to not have fixed this yet.

I had to try it several times... somehow the app files you have to delete are a bit hidden. I am not an IT expert but just be very careful and make sure you get all the cookies and skygo related files out and deleted in the bin as well before restart
that worked for me

I have been paining over this for ages. Then realised I was running on Apple Silicon, hadn't downloaded Rosetta. When I downloaded Rosetta, and then uninstalled SkyGo, cleared the folders, emptied the bin, restarted and reinstalled, it worked!

I can confirm these steps do work as of today (13/07/2024), but when you go to the ~/Library/Application Support/ part, I had to backspace once to make the folder location appear as there is a space character after the '/' character.

Latest version of the OS has blown it on 2 different Mac's - reinstalling after deleting all of the associated files has made no difference

looks like I'm having similar issues with sky go.
trying to install it for the first time on adn M1 Macbook Pro running Sonoma 14.5. The installer runs for a few seconds (you get the download bar showing as per screenshot) and then it just crashes (process dies) without completing.
