Unfortunately SkyGoInstaller was developed for Mac Intel, so if you have a newer Mac silicon (like M3) you will need Rosetta (a macos component that is not installed by default). Open terminal and type: "softwareupdate --install-rosetta" and then SkyGoInstaller will work. Have a nice day

That's not correct. This issue has been addressed by an updated installed a few months ago and the installer works fine on Apple silicon. This was covered in similar posts

You're wrong Jinjin, a few months ago they fixed SkyGoInstaller.app, but not the package that is downloaded from SkyGoInstaller.app. In fact what you see is the download of the package and then the installer closes itself. Just tested on a brand new Mac M3. Have a nice day.

I've installed on a clean M1 Pro and m2
Air without Rosetta, so something doesn't give

There was a period where it would not work at all; there was an update done (Aug 24) to the installer - this sorted all of the issues for me on an M1 & M3 Mac.
The issue for me appeared to be related to one of the Beta builds for Sonoma (June 24) with 24.1.3-2 (24.1.3-2) of Sky Go
Sky released a new Installer v 1.1.0 2/8/24; this installed Sky Go 24.1.3-3 which worked on Sonoma and also works on Sequoia
