Same here on Macbook Air M1 and Mac Mini M2, after 14.6 security update,
Sky Go no longer launches and crashes with a SkyGo Quit Unexpectedly message and the following reason:
Crashed Thread: 0 Dispatch queue: com.apple.main-thread
Exception Type: EXC_GUARD (SIGKILL)
Exception Codes: GUARD_TYPE_MACH_PORT
Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000
Termination Reason: Namespace GUARD, Code 2305843022098595840
Seems similar to another ongoing thread, but this only started happening after the MacOS Update to 14.6. Running Sky Go Version: 24.1.3-2, which was working fine yesterday.

I just tried download Sky Go app on my Macbook Air and it crashes everytime, didnt have a problem with it before the New Apple Update and now i can't even get the Sky Go App too open.
What the hell is going on now with Apple and Sky?
The amount of money that gets paid each month you kind of expect to get a decent tv subscription 😠

Ah! Sorry @Roat... it worked fine on my older Intel, but not my new M3. So I was chasing my tail with Rosetta. I give up, will must have to wait until the fix it and borrow and old PC! Thanks.

No problem @RichardBJ1. I initially ignored it as I am on a MacOS public Beta (never again) and it was working fine until then, Now I see a wide variety of platforms affected I thought I would throw my hat it.

@caesarome i sent an email to Sky about this problem and all i can do is just wait and see what they're gonna do.
I tried everything and its not working on my Macbook Air 😠😢

I reverted from Sequoia public beta to Senoma 14.5 on my M3 MacBook Air and the Sky Go App now works perfectly with Rosetta. I'm guessing it's just a compatibility issue any new OS updates on either Windows or Mac and Sky are just slow at updating their apps (The App for Mac OS hasn't been updated since May)

@Tom-W19 This is ridiculus why havent Sky fixed this problem? Why is their alaways an issue with this App because everytime theirs a update from Apple your app stops working!! 🤔 i don't think Sky should package this app because it just keeps on crashes after every Apple Update 🙄

Same issue here.
Updated to the Sequioa Beta last night and wasnt happy with it so then downgraded to Sonoma 14.6 (before downloading i assume i was on 14.5). Since going back onto Sonoma 14.6 I cannot open Sky Go. I can install it fine but the app just bobs up and down in the taskbar for a few seconds and then stops opening before promptly showing a error report with the main thing i could grasp from this report being:
PC register does not match crashing frame (0x0 vs 0x100FADA78)
I hope this issue can get resolved quickly and that you people are all having the same issue so we can get it resolved asap. In the mean time i think i am going to try and downgrade to Sonoma 14.5.

Is anyone from Sky doing any work to fix this issue or just Sky like getting only our money????? I have try so many times and all different ways to get Sky Go on my Mac but NOTHING works!!!! Im getting this:

Is anyone else experiencing the Sky Go App crashing on opening on a MacBook Pro after updating to Sonoma 14.6? Previously working fine but now just crashes on opening every time. Have tried usual restart machine, uninstall app and reinstall app.

I had to install Rosetta first though and you cant simple download that from the App Store. Here's what I did:
a) Right click on the Safari app within the Application folder and selected 'Get Info'
b) Check the 'Open using Rosetta' check box
c) Open Safari, at which point I'm prompted to install Rosetta
d) Install Sky Go making sure I've deleted all the remnants from previos attempts
e) Bingo! It works.
If you are on an Apple based Processor (M1, M2 or M3), can you fully uninstall Sky Go and try the above for me?

Lovely but i have the same issue Apple SIlicon/Intel
So Rosetta/lack of it is a red herring.
The key here is before update it worked fine on both machines, post update it doesn't.

Exactly the same with me. Updated to 14.6 on M3 iMac and Sky Go now crashes on launch.
