No, this is wrong and not helping. The app does not launch, where it did before. This has nothing to do with external monitors.

@cescalby appreciate the suggestion, and glad you got it working. but im not going back into my time machine backups for this and then fannying around with the internet connection. they just need to fix the app.

Same issue with my Mac mini running macOS Sonoma 14.5.
App auto updated and starts but immediately terminates.
Extremely frustrating.

Any news from Sky? Are they aware and taking care of the problem? I am convinced that a so big company with high level software tools cannot make basic mistakes. There should be something more that we don't know.

Hope Sky makes soon as possible an update of SKYGO.

Hi,
I have been using the skygo app for over a month of my Mac mini, no problems.
i have plenty of memory, space etc.
I have followed other posts about uninstalling, removing library entries etc and cleared recycle bin.
but the app once clicked on, just doesn't do any! It acknowledges the request to open, but doesn't load.
anyone had any ideas?
thanks

You have the same problem as a lot of us. There are quite a few posts on the same subject.
As far as I can tell, no one from Sky is aware or has acknowledged there is an issue despite numerous complaints.
Nothing will change until Sky accept there is a problem.

Not sure if anyone has replied to this but the issue is Sky Go after the latest update will not work unless SIP is enabled.
I reset NVRAM which reset SIP and other stufff and it worked. However did some testing by just disabling SIP (recovery console csrutil disable/unable) and enabling and definitely the app will not start if disabled.
I have other apps that require SIP to be disabled so it will become what is more important Sky Go or the other apps or extensions.

That explains it for me then. I also have stuff that needs SIP to be disabled so wont be enabling it.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply, I have tried resetting NVRAM, and after that when I checked my SIP status in Terminal, it showed me the result below.
Configuration:
Apple Internal: disabled
Kext Signing: disabled
Filesystem Protections: disabled
Debugging Restrictions: enabled
DTrace Restrictions: enabled
NVRAM Protections: enabled
BaseSystem Verification: enabled
Tried enabling SIP but the SkyGo still do not work.
However, after upgrading to MAC OS BETA, I can see the error report when SkyGo crashes . I can not post it here but if someone can help me out I can send the report privately.
