@MarkGoldsmith Thanks, that's the test I was going to carry out when I had more time! So it does actually record it but doesn't add it to the playlist.

Makes you wonder what the purpose of that is, why would you record something but for it not to be in a 'my recordings' section or something like that.

With Sky Stream if you add something to your playlist, it automatically records it, not sure why Sky Go doesn't do that too. I wonder if this feature will make more sense when the new Sky OS comes out.

Just a guess, but my assumption was perhaps that functionality is not fully working yet and is designed to be fully functional with SkyOS 2.0 - either that or its a bug 😀.

To be honest i only noticed it on the beta version the day before they officially released the app, so I hadn't got around to reporting it ( but i will do).

Re: Sky Go App for Glass/Stream now available

Hi.  I have some functionality questions if thats ok?

1) On the new Sky Go (Glass / Stream) App when watching live channels does it allow you to pause and resume?

2) If you watch ITV1 are you getting your regional version of local news or is it defauting to just London?

Seems this new app restricts to a single concurrent stream. When I start streaming on my iPad, I get an error message stating "The maximum number of devices are already being used" when I try to stream something on my iPhone.

With the old Sky Go app the limit was 4 concurrent streams.  Haven't seen any mention anywhere about this.

Has anyone been able to stream on more than one device at the same time with this new app?

I'm still only able to stream on one app at a time. I have reported the issue with Sky CS over the phone.

It's all a bit bizarre showing you channels you can't get whilst not showing any info or guide for channels you can watch on your Stream puck.

Sky Go not available on laptop for stream customers

I noticed over the past week that I could no longer access Sky go on my laptop, and to access Sky go because I was a stream customer I had to use the new app. So it now looks like as well as having reduced functionality as a stream customer compared to sky q, I now can only access Sky go on my laptop if I revert to Sky Q.

I find the decision to cut customers off from a perfectly functional app because of some imaginary categories quite strange.

I found this out when I was investigating my Sky ID and saw that devices could not be registered on the Sky Q part of the account as I had Sky Stream, which means we've been cutoff from part of the service without warning.

I have the same issue. Absolutely ridiculous. What was the conclusion of this?

Re: Sky Go not available on laptop for stream customers

No solutions so far. I called the customer service and they said there's nothing they can do and it's not possible to revert to Q when you've upgraded to stream. So basically cancel down and start a new Q package if you can be bothered. Gonna have a look at NowTV and do some research on that platform.
