SKY GO

Hi everyone I have upgraded to sky glass but my son can't access sky go now on his Xbox upstairs why is that ?

You do get Sky go included on the web, phones and tablets.

 

However that doesn't apply to consoles, as Sky see them as essentially secondary devices as they are connected to TVs, hence the reason whole home is required now that the free Sky go extra add-on doesn't exist for Sky VIPs

@Allan28  Because you need the whole home subscription on your account to do  so 

 

upgrading removes any existing sky go extra entitlement including the now non existent free vip version

Do you have whole home, i think it's called

Urgent Notice: as of 29th October 2024 you will no longer be able to pair your viewing card to a Sky+/Sky+HD box that the card is not already paired to, so if your Sky box breaks you cannot replace it and you'll need to move to either Sky Q, Sky Glass or Sky Stream to access Sky content

Yes you get Sky Go on mobile devices and computers but not on console

Thanks for your reply so if i purchased whole home would my son be able to watch it on console ? and sometimes he takes his console away with him would he still be able to watch it out of the house?

The error message on his xbox will have mentioned Whole Home is required, so yes to your questions 🙂

Thank you for your help much appreciated saves me getting in touch with sky now I got to upgrade lol
