Hey all,
We’d like to invite customers to take part in trialing the next Sky Go version for desktops (Windows and Mac).
What’s included in this release?
In this version we have a number of backend bug fixes.
How do I install the trial build?
You will be able to download the version of the trial build using the following link:
Windows
Mac
Once downloaded, please follow any on-screen messages you see.
NB: Should you find that the app crashes after the installation, can you please remove the app from your device completely, before re-attempting the installation. If you continue to experience problems, can you please make sure that you fill out the survey below.
How do you report any issues on this build?
We’ve made it super easy to report any issues, simply complete our short fault survey . If further information is required, we will let you know via email address you include within your survey response.

This has solves the 001 connection error on my Lenovo Windows 10 laptop. Sky Go now working. Thank you

I have downloaded the app via the link you provided above but Sky Go still crashes on Windows 11, still getting the 'checking for updates' message then after that the blue screen with arrow, then 'accept Sky cookies' then once clicked on 'accept' the app returns to 'checking for updates' then the blue screen with arrow, then the app crashes completly.
I cannot understand why this app is so difficult to use, put frankly it is a total disaster, as a customer of over 20 years I have had enough, I have filled in the faults survey you requested but I suspect this results in nothing - having to pay a ever increasing subscription for a ever decreasing service is unacceptable especially in these difficult times.
I have made 3 posts on this community site and have received no help whatsoever from Sky, that in itself says it all.

I get a error message when trying to open Sky go app on my desktop. It says 'We are having trouble trying to connect you' Please try again (001).
I have uninstalled and re-installed the app and this has not fixed the problem. What can I do to correct this error code? I have looked at previous replies on this matter, I tried the fix with the Windows Beta to sort this out, but this did not work.
