Experiencing this issue. Error appears "We're having problems connecting you. Please try again (001).". Seems sky have borked the app, for macos. Have checked SIP is enabled. Have uninstalled / reinstalled. Fix please.

Same for me, it crashes on both Mac Mini and Macbook Pro, both with Sequoia.

Same for me.
My MacPro satisfy all requirements but still as I try to install the app it says "error during the start of the app. Try again (001)"
Which is very frustrating as we are paying for the service....

To fix this you need the old version
I was lucky to have version 24,13-3 backed up on a usb stick.
I opened up the verison 24.2.3 (which was not working). right click, show package contents. Swaped MacOS file and frameworks files from old version.
Bingo its working! Also fixed my Dads sky go with this method

Yes, but we don't have to fix what Sky people should.
The "normal" user, one that doesn't have your skills, should be allowed to see what he has been paying for.
Cheers

I have exactly the same issue. Running MacOS Sequoia (15.1.1) on my iMac. Used to work fine with previous versions. Have done all the usual uninstall/reinstall steps. App installs fine, but when launched, app quits withinin a second or two. No error message...

Some additional information (for Sky developers). I have the exact same issue on my MacBook running macOS Sonoma (14.6.1). However, on this version I do get an error report, in which the cause of the crash is hopefully explained:
Crashed Thread: 0 Dispatch queue: com.apple.main-thread
Exception Type: EXC_GUARD (SIGKILL)
Exception Codes: GUARD_TYPE_MACH_PORT
Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000
Termination Reason: Namespace GUARD, Code 2305843022098595840
I hope this is helpful; I have kept a copy of the full error report if needed.
