Volume Indicator Issue on QS039 update

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

Has anyone's volume indicator started acting weirdly since the update ?

if I move the volume up or down the indicator bar sometimes jumps or down after the press ......

also noticed watching a show on U demand that the picture keeps losing focus then refocusing as if it's buffering then catching up

Re: SKY OS 39 Update

Now you mention it, yes. Trying to make small changes by briefly touching the button has no effect; it seems to need to be held down for a period and then moves more than I'd want it to. Replacement GTV due tomorrow.

Re: Volume Indicator Issue on QS039 update

Thanks. I've just recevied a replacement Sky Gkass Air and the UI is 3.44.2 By the look of the number, it is later than 3.134 or does it not work like that?

Do you still have the problem on this new TV? Can you send me a PM with your Ethernet MAC address, so I can check that out for you please @groupcaptain

@Neil+Essex There's nothing for you to do as it's a gradual roll-out. There isn't a way to push you onto that release yet, but it should be with everyone in the coming weeks.

Re: Volume Indicator Issue on QS039 update

Thanks. My question was simply whether the UI in my replacement is more recent than the one you mentioned. The volume seems fine so far.

I'm a bit confused, you said here that your Air had 3.44.2, is that not the case? I can't say why it's not impacting you right now, however, you may find that it comes back until you get 3.134, which is the confirmed fix release 🙂

Thanks
