Re: Volume Indicator Issue on QS039 update
As I said, I hav3 3.117.3. However, I am back to having a much bigger issue. The unit is unusable. Here is a copy of a post I just made on another thread relating to my replacement Glass Air -
So, the replacement unit is the same as the previous. It updated to OS 3.9 and is now showing an image top left of someone who looks a bit like Hugh Laurie and not showing programmes. Identical behaviour. Either this is being send over the streaming service or it is in the TV. Whatever, I am now at my wit’s end with this. Sky seems to be totally deaf to this issue which is surely impacting many users. I also have 2 pucks on the same network and, so far, they do not do this. If anyone from Sky is reading this, please respond. I would also urge anyone else whop is experiencing this nonsense to message on here. I am paying near £100 a month for a service that is atrocious.

The problem that you describe, sounds like an issue that we're aware of, and I don't believe switching the TV out will help. So far, when we've seen the issue, there's been a connectivity problem with the TV on the network. If you've also seen Please wait for your programme to load, we'd recommend going through these steps.

Re: Volume Indicator Issue on QS039 update
Thanks. I called Sky and the guy there talked me through disconnecting mains and reconnecting whilst holding the power button. This showed an update taking place but at the end of it, the OS and UI are unchanged but it is working. During the process, it froze for PIN entry and would not do anything but breakiungh the mains supply got around that. Working at the moment but no idea if this is a fix. The guy said he could not understand why the TV had been replaced and that this is a known issue and what he asked me to do would usually resolve it.
