Upgrades on app confusing

Hi I've just got a sky glass tv with the essentials package. I've come to realise that they're are channels i watched previously that aren't available unless I upgrade to ultimate. The problem is the pricing isn't clear. It states £18 is that the whole package is£18 or this is additional. The shop really needs to be looked at as sky aren't being clear about the charges. £0 on some items is this for a trial or not as again not clear

The TV Base Pack is showing as being removed, so is -£18 off you bill, and the Ultimate TV Pack is showing as being added at £18. So you should be getting the Ultimate Pack at £18, not £34. (Or £36, which is 2x £18)

Sky seem to like deliberately trying to confuse their customers. I hate how nothing is straightforward and pricing seems to be all over the place and random for different customers.

you will have to phone them to check, otherwise they'll probably lock you into a new contract at some random price.

Hi @Ginsing64,

Why don't you upload a screenshot here (without any personal information) so other users can see what you're seeing and offer their help?

Re: Upgrades on app confusing

@Ginsing64  I've just looked again at your post and I'd definitely take the ultimate tv at £18 and remove essentials at £18 as you get more choice of channels with ultimate tv or ring sky and see what they offer as offers change all the time I've got kids and hd free for 4 months until March but I'll remove them in February to avoid getting charged then wait and see if it's free again it usually is

Thank you for your time and help.  I've done that now and taken other stuff off and paying less again.  Not nuts really. But I don't think that shop is very good especially if your new to it.  Free of any other offers come my way have s great new year.
