Sky Glass gen2 installation and setup VIP

Hiya,

Thinking of upgrading to Sky Glass Gen2 in the new year. I have an old 50" wall mounted plasma TV. Does Sky offer a installation service for VIP customers? It's a two man job to lift of the old plasma TV off the wall and would think that the new Sky Glass TV would need two men to lift it back on.

If I ordered it from Sky in the new year does Sky just delivery it and then leave?

@Michael6759  You can pay extra and they will setup onto the floor stand but they will not wall mount 

you will need to source and pay independent contractors for that

Probably the only thing which weighs more than a Sky Glass ; )

As @SKY1992bf indicates, even if you pay the £45 for 'Premium' delivery they still won't do that.

And according to the link posted by @TimmyBGood they won't even put the tv on the floor stand on either option ( that's my bad as I thought they did on at least the premium option)

I believe 'Premium' includes unboxing, inserting feet and lifting onto furniture (but not a wall mount even if that's already there)

I've previously suggested that they re-write that page as it's really rather unhelpful.

'Standard' delivery is dump-and-run.

If I need a new glass tv in time I'd hope they'd do the same as they did before and lift it to the Stand as shown in photo
