New glass user

Just set up sky glass after using a satellite since 1996... bit of a culture shock to say the least

why can't I or how do I add programmes such **bleep** silent witness which I found on the bbc iPlayer to my playlist? I tried the plus button but it doesn't add to the playlist 🤷‍♂️. So how do I build a playlist for all programs that are in different apps, if I have to go to all the apps and find them what do I need sky stream for ?

Hi @Steve19671974

you can't add them to your playlist from inside the apps

you need to search for the shows from the homescreen of sky glass then use the + button from the search results (voice search using the voice search button is easiest)

you can also use the + button on the EPG

you can also use the + button on any of the tiles on the homescreen

You start off saying Sky Glass, then end with Sky stream, what do you have Sky Glass or Sky Stream?

Sky stream refers to device called a Stream Puck, both Sky Glass & Sky stream are the same platform within each respective device.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Also helpful to setup profiles if there's more than one of you using the tv - that way then you get the choice of which playlist to add the shows to when pressing the + button (personalised playlists)

Re: New glass user

I have sky glass, but to be honest I thought the interface was identical? Whether I've bought a glass tv or a streaming box ?

Correct. Sky Glass TVs and Sky Stream pucks run the same SkyOS. If you have the Whole Home subscription you can view your subscription channels on both devices and playlists should be visible and update on them both.
