Netflix speed test

@JimM1 I did that first as I always do. But I don't have access to an Android device currently and there seems to be a consensus that Apple apps are unreliable.

I use the SPEEDTEST app with my Apple TV which is connected via Ethernet cable to a wireless mesh node in a glass TV cabinet

@splatto Think it's more off a controlled apple situation with apps and development, not a fruit flavoured guy, so only see when daughter who is iPhone and Grandaughter who is all apple! Never had any issues at all with her macbook that i got her network wise!

@JimM1 It's not a problem using an Apple device. Just that the speed test apps used on an Apple device are unreliable and Android should be used.

@splatto At the end off the day all the speed test's android or apple are unreliable, would NEVER trust anything on my Samsung phone in the slightest regarding speed! And also NOT a phone person will never be just not interested that way!

For myself, I use the Apple speed tests as an indicator of the health of my mesh system. In a similar manner I do speedtest on my laptop on the 1st floor which is wired to another node via Wavlink display adapter.

Because I set up my Asus in access point mode I am unable to do a speedtest through the Asus app showing speed at the ONT.

I rarely have buffering on any TV and more importantly Zoom and Team meetings are reliable.

I don't have any specific problems. I recently got rid of my iffy WIFI zones with the Sky Max hub and one Pod. 
The different WIFI and wired connections is a new subject for me that I'm learning about, so I'm just playing around with stuff.

@splatto So how is it all going with your Poweline adapters that you installed, early day's yet but more about the stability etc!!!

@JimM1 The powerline adapters are excellent. I didn't have any specific problems with streaming programs via WIFI, but the menus and apps were a bit sluggish to load and are now much faster.

@splatto You should find that, cable is much snappier even though it's via the powerline interface and the mains cabling!

Continuing to experiment here. In my bedroom where the Sky Pod is active I have a five year old mini PC with WIFI 4. 
With WIFI I get 236 down and 110 up.

Connected via Ethernet I get 405 down and 112 up.

@splatto Both are about correct values for each, Ethernet on the PC just depends on how good it is, and the wireless operation off your pod on the final leg to the sky Max hub!

Just tried my Surface Pro 8. WIFI 5.

WIFI 360 down. 76 up. 

Ethernet 434 down. 109 up.
