Re: Continue Watching Rail Issues

maybe they should actually do something about it by now, there have been requests since 2024 for the ability to remove items from continue watching, what if someone watches the first series of something and thinks the 2nd season is rubbish, and they keep seeing it displayed

@Skemptor I guess in that scenario it probably isn't seen as a major issue/bug, as eventually, if it remains unwatched, it will fall off the CW rail after a couple of months at most.

Yes, it's clearly not seen as a major issue.

Equally, why should only the major issues ever get fixed? There are many of us who are incredibly annoyed at these minor issues, which could be fixed. To see something stuck there for 2 months, for me, would irritate me greatly. I have to work around it by never looking there.

It would be nice if I could use it as intended, but I cannot do that unless and until I have a way to manually remove items.

Quite common for software development on active products. Priority will always go on new features that the business has deemed the product needs and also major bug fixes, which typically can lead to the minor bugs either never getting resolved or taking years for someone to get round to it

Yes it was partially rhetorical, but I made the case in the rest of the post 🙂

But yeah i agree its a bit stupid. I get having to prioritise things but when you have a community such as this for customer feedback and the most requested thing to fix is the continue watching rail, yet it is probably the one feature on the entire platform that constantly has issues, be it the inability to remove things, some shows on particular apps where the status doesn't track properly, or my favourite bug where old completed items just randomly appear back for a short period.

You won't get replies that quickly from the official complaints procedure. It can take up to 10 days to get a response and Sky have 6 weeks to resolve it.

Re: Continue Watching Rail Issues

Here we go again!

I've had a Random programme called Fargo from Prime Video pop up on my CW Rail (S1 Ep5), even though I have never even watched this program in the first place. It randomly appeared after i watched Multiple episodes of The Blame on ITVX.

Now nothing i do lile skipping forward on the episode/last episode removes it!

So everytime i turn on the TV i have to look at something i have no interest in.

Re: Continue Watching Rail Issues

I'm on the OS 2.0 beta and there are programmes appearing on Continue Watching that I finished months ago. Going to the final episode and fast forwarding, the usual solution, is not working.

The ability to delete programmes directly on the Continue Watching rail has been asked for ever since Glass launched in 2021. This would have been the perfect opportunity to finally add this. It's the one feature most of us really want to be added.

Re: Continue Watching Rail Issues

I only emailed them last week so will give it a another week or so before I chase up but seeing as this is a known issue & nothing is being done about it I don't hold out much hope. Anyone know if this is also an issue on Gen 2 or is it only Gen 1 Sky Glass tvs ?

Re: Continue Watching Rail Issues

I just spoke to some woman from sky who said they aren't even aware of any Continue Watching issues, so the team can't fix it. I said i find that strange concidering how mmay people come to the forum to complain and raise the issue!

so according to her, there's nothing to fix!

"We aren't aware of any problems, and you're the fiftieth person I've had to explain that to today"

You couldn't make it up. That woman was wrong, they are 100% aware. She was just fobbing you off.
