Add skipping

Can anyone tell me why my add skipping not working properly.

When i fast forward it either won't stop when fastforwarding goes right to end of program.

This morning when I tried it wouldn't stop at all .

@floydgourlay  No, not the Type of Glass TV but the version of Software on it, you can find this in the settings menu.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Ad skipping is notoriously flaky on Sky Glass & Stream because its functionality differs between apps. The ITVX, Channel 4, and Five apps each have slightly different implementation of the fast forward command. Each of the apps uses memory and cacheing differently, so it's never going to be a consistent experience.

You either just have to get used to its foibles or pay extra for ITVX Premium and Channel 4+ to get on demand ad-free streaming. Five doesn't have an ad-free tier so you'll have to put up with it.
