Wireless sky glass

Hey there can I use sky glass without it being connected to the router. So completely wireless

Yes, have done since November 2021

Sky Glass 43” stand mount, Wi-fi, 1 puck, ethernet from Bt disc.
Sky Ultimate and whole home, Diamond VIP User
BT Hybrid FTTC, BT Smart Hub 2 + 1 disc

I want to move sky glass upstairs when unplug router from tv it comes up no connection

Hi @Mulvaney79,

 

You will need to connect your TV to the WiFi. Go Settings > Network > Advanced and make sure WiFi is on. Go back to network connection and click reset and follow the onscreen instructions:

 

  1. Wait while your network is checked, then select Confirm.
  2. Now, follow the on-screen instructions to:
    • Connect to a Sky hub
    • Connect to a router from another provider
    • Connect with an Ethernet cable instead of WiFi
