Why is Sky Glass so awful

Why is sky glass so terrible?   Can anyone give me an upside to this terrible terrible  system?

It constantly freezes and offers me content to apps that I am not signed up for.

Correct it can't have any knowledge of what other streaming services you have signed up for so of course it will recommend and display shows for all supported apps on the platform.

if it keeps freezing that sounds like the glass tv may not be getting a stable and fast enough internet connection.  First thing to check is to open Netflix, go to get help and then check your network. This will tell you the download speed the TV is getting. It's usually worth running this multiple times at different times to get an average. Certainly run it went you get the freezing/buffering issues and let us know what speed you get back.

Although it would be very easy to tell the service what you subscribe to ...  as done on other services🤔

The fact that you can't pause for more than ten minutes is pants. 

If you want to fast forward into the middle of a show, it takes about a day. 

You can't easily find things you've missed. 

By comparison, BT (EE)TV let's you do all of these things very easily. 

Also, changing to hdmi is a mission. 

The very day our SKY contract finishes, were going straight back to EE. it's so much better, and cheaper. 

Sky glass is rubbish.

The sky glass TV, well all i can say is 'I made a bad mistake signing up to get this TV. 

In my experience here's why:

Picture Quality: very poor, when connecting PS5 or Blueray in HDR the picture is dull and sometimes foggy, even making adjustments to customisable settings the quality compared to other manufacturers is way below par. Screen mirroring, itdoesn't do and, sound syncing is an issue and I have 1 gig wireless so no problems with connectivity. More of a 'Dumb TV'. Well done sky for your marketing, but I think I've been sold a pup.

Changing to HDMI is easy - either "Hello Sky" or press the microphone button on remote then say "HDMI (number of input you want).

Simple.
