Why is sky glass so terrible? Can anyone give me an upside to this terrible terrible system?

It constantly freezes and offers me content to apps that I am not signed up for.

Correct it can't have any knowledge of what other streaming services you have signed up for so of course it will recommend and display shows for all supported apps on the platform.
if it keeps freezing that sounds like the glass tv may not be getting a stable and fast enough internet connection. First thing to check is to open Netflix, go to get help and then check your network. This will tell you the download speed the TV is getting. It's usually worth running this multiple times at different times to get an average. Certainly run it went you get the freezing/buffering issues and let us know what speed you get back.

Although it would be very easy to tell the service what you subscribe to ... as done on other services🤔
