Sky glass wall mount spacers which way?

Random question but just looking at my sky glass mount and the spacers. One end it flat and the other is not.

What end goes against the wall and what against the bracket? Pic uploaded for reference!

Doesn't really matter: they are there to keep the plate far enough out from the wall for its lugs to securely locate into the load-bearing recess in the rear of the Glass television set.  The photograph below is from another forum user and appears to have the wider end of the spacers against the wall.

thank you!

they look like M8 bolts too. Was wondering about fixings but not sure there was enough room around a bolt to get a socket on it.

The templates linked here appears to show them a particular way round (see step 10)
