Sky glass remote not working

• My remote is not working correctly all of a sudden. If I press 3 for eg then it turns the tv off! I can't change any channels or select anything. 
  I have changed the batteries and done the reset but still no joy

When you say a reset do you mean restart your Glass or unpaired and repaired your sky remote? Have you completed all troubleshooting steps outlined here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/remote-control-help-sky-glass

I have a Sky stream remote not working.
right click brings up/down "search"
left click powers down

I have replaced the batteries.
re-paired the remote, which does pair, except at the end I can't click the centre select button.
left the batteries out for 2 days and retried.

I see this is a known issue and the link you noted is referenced.

but for me that is reporting page not found.
Is that still a valid link, or maybe I have some odd problem?

I should note too that going through the Sky chat it eventually sends me to that link... which does not work.
