@leec32

As requested,  I have escalated your post to the Sky Community Messaging Team who will send you an invitation for an online chat.

The link below explains how the procedure works

https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147

Keep a look out for the speech chat bubble that will appear on the bottom left of your screen when you are logged onto this forum. When the blue bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or the chat will be automatically closed.  Note replies from Sky are not instant so you will need to regularly check the chat thread.

Good luck

Update-We are closing this session now after talking to leec32. If you are in a similar situation please be advised: Remote delivery times: 8 weeks (31 days’ cancellation notice period + 4 weeks after cancellation date). If you have not received the remote within that time frame, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Thanks.

Re: Sky glass remote control with app buttons?

I've just cancelled my sky streaming subscription and am expecting to receive one of these remotes.  Which is the apps button please?

Hi again @Emma0108

The App buttons are for YouTube and Netflix.   The delivery time for the remote is about 8 weeks as explained in the post just above yours.

@Emma0108 Unfortunately not.  If you go to the post with the picture and click on the picture it wil magnify it so you can h=get a better look.

I also have Glass and one of the of the problems is it is not very functional if you do not subscribe to Sky any longer.

I imagine you could add an Amazon Firestick or Apple TV or similar device for streaming other Apps though.

@leec32 Did you follow up after 8 weeks as suggested in post 18 above from  @Addie15 ? If not then I would do so as there is not much else you can do other than make another request. You certainly should have received it long ago.

I could try escalating your post for a second time if you think it would help or would you prefer to speak to Sky in person?

Re: Sky glass remote control with app buttons?

If you wouldn't mind escalating please, the last time I spoke to Sky, a couple of people, neither claimed to know anything about a remote, it was only after coming on here and you escalating it the first that someone from Sky acknowledged they existed

Thank you
