Re: Sky Glass Power up Issues 19-9-24

I get the same error message in the mysky app as I do using a browser. Oops, there has been a problem, call a phone number that won't be answered with 2 an hour or so.

Shocking service, the end of Sky for me.

Suggest all affected should consider making their feelings known on Trustpilot.

@Chloe  It should really work after leaving unplugged for at least 30 seconds, how long did you leave it unplugged for?  As we have gotten this far I might suggest leaving for around 1 hour to see if this helps, so unplug from the mains again and leave for the new timescale

Re: Sky Glass Puck wont go

@Mark I've tried this and when the sky glass tv restarts I'm told to link my account via sky.com/activate

This just displays a generic error message and tells me to call a phone number. I cannot get anyone to answer, on my 4th try now.

@Zoie   I have merged your post to this existing thread that is discussing the same issue, you posted this on an older thread which is unrelated to the latest issue.

If you have not already done so have a look at the Answer (post 2) and follow this link https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-glass-stream-wont-turn-on for the recovery process. It has not worked for all subscribers

Most people who have an issue seem to get stuck at either the PIN or activation steps. If asked for a PIN just ignore it and unplug your Glass TV and then plug it back in again after about 30 seconds. After it reboots you should be able to continue the recovery procedure.

When you are aske to enter an activation cove ensure you are logged into your My Sky account or you will get an Oops..... error message.

Sky glass puck turns off after you power up

My Sky glass puck keeps turning off when you power it up and does not turn back on. Problem only started Friday night, my Sky glass tv is fine and the other 2 sky glass pucks I have are working normally.

Re: Sky Glass Power up Issues 19-9-24

@lettice its not a puck it's sky glass and I have ignored it and done the hard reset again and it brings me back to pin page every time. I have then tried unplugging it and leaving for 5 minutes and trying again and then again it brings me back to the pin page.

Re: Sky Glass Power up Issues 19-9-24

Yes. I have. 3 times. Sky say its not sorted for everyone. I've cancelled. If takes all this to resort I can't do it. And they won't

Re: Sky Glass Puck wont go

@Devmen if you use your phone and change to private browsing, then go to sky.com/activate, it should then allow you to put your activation code in rather than the 'oops' error message.
