Re: Sky glass keeps freezing
This is helpful but could someone explain further about checking the speed. I can't see a Settings option on Netflix. Looking on Settings can't find speed to tv. This problem has only started since we upgraded our broadband.
As we're not the only ones having this problem it seems likely that it's a WiFi problem rather than the tv set. Our router is in another room so a cable not possible. Also we got Glass to be cable free.

In Netflix go to Get Help in the side menu and then select the Check Your Network option and it will run the speed test. As you suggest if your router has recently changed it could certainly be that which is down emitting a weaker WIFI signal. You could look at powerline adapters as another option to use an ethernet cable without having to run a long cable between rooms.

Re: Sky glass keeps freezing
I thought the broadband we were getting was faster! I'll check out what you've said before getting on to Sky. Thanks for advice.

Re: Sky glass keeps freezing
Yes, I am getting this regularly. It is connected via ethernet so not a wifi issue and my speed tests show a download speed of 922Mbps, upload of 108Mbps and a latency of 19ms so in my mind not a connection issue. so far I have had no joy from Sky support - they keep asking me to review over the next 24 hrs.......

Re: Sky glass keeps freezing
@SH771 It doesn't seem like it's good news. How long have you had the Glass? If it's less than two years I'd be inclined to request a new one under warranty.

Re: Sky glass keeps freezing
@SH771 I'd demand a replacement in your shoes before the warranty expires. Then you'll be up a creek without a paddle!

Re: Sky glass keeps freezing
People saying weak WiFi signal don't have a clue what they are taliijg about. For the last week my sky glass keeps freezing to the point I can't even use the remote. Have to keep switching it off waiting 10 seconds and plugging it back in... my WiFi signals are 573 download and 552 upload also the multi pick is working fine.
The whole reason I got Sky glass was so you didn't have to connect to a dish, router etc... so compromising with an Ethernet cable is defeating the purpose of one of the USP's of Sky Glass..
