This means Sky Live isn't ready to use yet. Press Home, wait two minutes then select the app again.
Still not working? Unplug the USB-C cable from Sky Live and plug it in again.
Thanks,
Tim

Hi,
I received my Sky Live cam on Friday, bought mainly to use the mvmnt app. Only problem is all apps apart from mvmnt are working! I click on mvmnt and the screen goes black then just goes back to the previous screen, won't even load at all. I have refreshed apps and rebooted the TV to no avail.
any help much appreciated
thanks

Can you confirm there are plans to introduce more video calls apps such as FaceTime, Teams, Skype etc in the future?

Nobody on here can confirm anything like that.
I would think the chances are extremely unlikely in any case.

Sky (Comcast) could not 'introduce' those without the active involvement of Apple and Microsoft.
Microsoft in particular has exacting standards for permitting their logo to be on devices 'certified for Teams' while Apple is very unlikely to want to lend their corporate credibility to Comcast without a substantial financial return.
If there were any such plans, these would be extremely commercially sensitive and highly confidential.

Realistically, Zoom is the 'Sky Live' calling partner because it is both an independent company and frankly needs the business after over-expanding during their pandemic boom.
Apple and Microsoft are each considerably bigger than Comcast itself, and therefore in a position to drive a very hard bargain if they were to even consider such a deal.

Hello, could anyone advise if there are any subscription of upfront costs for the apps that work with Sky Live please? Thank you

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe current apps are all covered by an ongoing subscription to the Sky Ultimate Television bundle on a Glass TV (and presumably subsidised by the cost of the camera). That doesn't mean there won't be charges for other Live services in the future, and all Live service stops if the television set no longer has a Sky subscription associated with it.
