Hello
Were having a strange issue with our sky glass TV. Happens at random times and can't replicate it.
We can be watching TV, the screen with go blank, not off, just blank and the sound continues. Happens a few times a day and if you put into standby and switch on again, it works.
Tried resetting the TV, tried resetting the sound a picture settings and made sure the TV is on the latest software and nothing has changed, still happens and it's getting slightly irritating as this was a replacement TV as out last TV kept on having banding issues on the screen ?
Any one else had any similar issues at all and were able to sort it ?
Cheers in advance
Dan

Similar thing here,
has now happened 3 times, always after watching something on an app (Netflix, iPlayer, Apple TV so far)
Come out of the app, select a channel, it plays for 10 seconds or so and then the picture freezes and the sound continues.
Change channel, sound plays for 2 seconds on a black screen, then stops.
No apps will work either. Has been resolved by switching it off overnight.
first occasion it was telling me there was an internet connection issue (there wasn't, the fire stick and PlayStation still worked fine through the glass tv), however on the 2nd and 3rd occasions it says everything looks good for the connection.
seems to be a developing issue that is getting more frequent

Sounds like with having similar issues. it's happened a few times while using apps, aswell as regular sky, but either way, I can't find out why it's doing it.
We use virgin broadband and it's running about 1.5gbps so it can be a internet issue. Well atleast I doubt it ? Just seems odd the TV goes blank and the sound continues. It's almost like it's trying to put itself into standby mode as it hasn't been used for a few hours but instead of switching off, it's screen is going blank and the sound continues

We have the same issue, but sky don't want to know, the tv lasted 3 years, so 1 year after the warranty expired and they won't do anything about it. I still have to pay for it. They don't care that it's broken either, not there problem. I'm disgusted with them at the moment. I explained that other makes of tv's last a lot longer than 3 years. The previous tv I had before it lasted over 5 years with no issues as my daughter uses everyday.
been with sky a very long time and I'm flabbergasted at my treatment but this company. Really opened my eyes.

Just happened and I solved it by unplugging tv from socket plugged back then do apps refresh
reboot
all sorted
basiclly it's paramount + issue not sky

Yours must still be under the 2 years warranty cus mine was 2 years and 8 months old they took no responsibility, even had cheek to contact me about me not using the service. I said love to but as have no tv no way to watch what's the point of the subscription. Silly ppl
